Insurance Sector Report – Trends across the South East

In a recent report by Kennedys Law Firm, Executives in the insurance industry voiced concerns that the wrong kind of deal could be crippling for the sector. Whilst the UK insurance industry remains a dominant player in the global market, the challenges of Brexit are varied and serious. With an export market worth £20bn annually, it is important that the UK sector maintains favourable single market access after Brexit. The current uncertainty around how the UK’s long-term trading relationship with the EU will manifest is resulting in a slowing down of investment across all sectors.
