  • Professional vacancies in NE/Y&H combined dropped by 24.4% year-on-year
  • In Leeds, the city with the most vacancies, the retail sector dominated
  • Tech companies led overall hiring in Newcastle, while in Sheffield real estate/construction took top spot in 2021
  • Claranet (Leeds), Ubisoft (Newcastle) and LEGO (Sheffield) published the most vacancies in 2020
