APSCo and Vacancysoft

February 2018

Key trends emerging out of the UK in 2017 include:

  • A significant increase in the number of professional vacancies, with a surge in activity happening towards the end of the year
  • Whilst Greater London remains the stronghold for jobs in the UK, the biggest increase year on year was seen in the North East of England, could we finally be seeing the government investment in the Northern Powerhouse paying off?
  • TMT companies now have more professional vacancies than any other sector, with this only set to continue as investment into IT continues.
