Moving further into the year, despite political uncertainty and the consequences a hard Brexit may bring, the South of England continues to flourish. Since 2018, across this region, we can trace an overall increase in professional vacancies with job growth up by 26.7%. According to economic data from P wC UK, thanks to ongoing investments into technology and services, the South East is the second-fastest-growing economy with year-on-year hiring activity up by 22.9%. It’s also worth mentioning that, within the southern r egions, the South East is the biggest hub for recruiting professionals. So far this year, in the South of England, 51.1% of available jobs are in the South East.
