Activity in the south of England has picked up this year, with activity up 12% on 2016. Whilst the South-East has dominated in terms of overall activity across the region, other parts of the country have seen a faster pick up though. Other key takeaways include:

  • TMT companies account for 29% of all professional vacancies across the region, where there has been a 21% increase year on year.
  • Professional Services has been the fastest growing sector year on year, with activity up 25%.
  • By role, vacancies for sales people have seen the greatest year on year growth, up 17%.
