September 2017

In this month’s report co-produced by Vacancysoft and Oliver James Associates, we focus on vacancies for regulatory and compliance staff in England & Wales. There was sound growth in the number of such new openings, but which regions had the best growth in terms of vacancy volumes and percentage change? And what about the different sectors? How does the number of newly announced Compliance posts compare with Regulatory roles? The answers to all those questions and more are in this report.

  • The number of vacancies for regulatory and compliance staff in England & Wales in the 12-month period ended 31 July 2017 was 16.6% higher than it had been in the previous 12-month period.
  • The trend for the 12-month period which ended on 31 July 2017 was upwards, a contrast to the downwards trend in the previous 12-month period.
  • There was period-to-period growth in each of the three-month periods in the 12-month period which ended on 31 July 2017.
