Recent events led governments to urgently call upon the pharmaceutical industry to innovate a way out of the current pandemic. As this report goes to press, the challenge appears to have been tentatively met. Vacancies specifically for engineers, however, continued rising through Q2, where they amounted to 911professional recruitments. In Q3 this increased slightly to1012 vacancies, a month-on-month climb of 11%. On this trajectory, 2020’s total will surpass last year’s by 17%.
