Technology Sector Report November 2019 – IT Vacancies in Law

November 2019

As the power of technology to automate makes the leap from blue collar sectors to the professions, Law is now starting to be disrupted in ways traditionalists would never have imagined possible. As an example, when you take how Artificial Intelligence is now starting to disrupt the legal industry specifically, you see aspects such as the way due diligence and contract review is now better served by software than by people.

As a result, it is not surprising that across the board, IT professionals are being hired in ever increasing numbers within Law Firms, with volumes up 22% between 2017 and 2019 alone, making this the fastest growing area of recruitment in the sector.
