APSCo and Vacancysoft

October 2016

In this report we examine the professional vacancy market across England and Wales. Our key findings are:

  • Professional vacancies fell by 8% from Q2 to Q3 this year.
  • The hardest hit industry so far is Professional Services, where Law vacancies are down 14%.
  • IT, Sales, and HR professionals have seen big drops in overall demand, but many niche specialisms grew in Q3.

Vacancysoft is the Data Publisher for the Recruitment Industry. We provide recruiters with daily lead lists that help to monitor their clients’ hiring and to identify companies struggling to hire.
