Vacancy Tracker Poll: 68% of recruiters hiring for growth and expansion

Since the beginning of 2021 we have been polling our clients in the recruitment industry monthly. To ascertain what the biggest single cause of vacancy instructions has been, between replacement hires, interim roles or hiring for growth and expansion.

Significantly, whereas in January 57% of people responded cited hiring for growth and expansion as being the biggest single cause, in February the result was 68%, a sign of confidence returning to the market perhaps?

Replacement hires were the second largest area, polling at 16%, whilst interim roles were the third category with 11%.
